Data deletion
Last updated: June 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of data that quickByte digital holds as a result of platform API connections or app authorisations.
Who this is for
This page is for people who have authorised a Meta or Facebook app operated by quickByte digital (such as the quickByte Marketing Pipeline app), or who are a contracted client and wish to have platform-derived reporting data removed from our systems.
For general website enquiries, use the contact address below.
How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:
- The app or platform name (e.g. quickByte Marketing Pipeline, Google Ads reporting)
- The account email or business name associated with the connection
- The client business name, if applicable
- A brief description of what you would like deleted
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and confirm deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity.
What we delete
Upon a verified request we will delete cached and synced reporting data in our systems that is tied to the specified authorisation or account connection. This covers data stored in our Google BigQuery pipeline datasets for that account.
We do not delete your Meta, Google, or other platform accounts - those are managed directly with the platform. We only delete data we hold in our own systems.
Timeline
We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Remove app access directly
You can also revoke app access yourself at any time through your platform settings:
- Meta / Facebook: Facebook Apps and Websites settings - find the app and click Remove.
- Google: Google Account - Third-party access - find the app and click Remove access.
Revoking access stops future data pulls. To remove data we have already collected, follow the email process above.
